How Junior Achievement Leveraged IT to Serve More Students
Junior Achievement of Arizona equips future generations with the skills and knowledge to be successful and pursue their dreams through critical financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship skills that will prepare them to succeed in work and in life. They offer STEM programs, mentorships, classes, and more to serve our students, their families, and their future employers.
Elizabeth has been a member of the Junior Achievement team since September of 2009. She is the organization’s first locally dedicated Human Resources professional who oversees all HR, IT, and Office Administration. When Elizabeth first started at JAAZ, she wasn’t happy with their current IT performance and knew that with the right technology her and her team could reach more students and increase workload efficiency. Aligned with their mission of “preparing for tomorrow”, updating their systems and networks were a must. With ATS transitioning JAAZ to a more cloud based system, Elizabeth and her team are able to reach more students and provide better flexibility when it comes to their employees and the Covid-19 pandemic, all while staying within their budget.

Help You Reach Your Goals
By implementing cloud based systems JAAZ can now reach students in more rural areas who were not previously exposed to their programs.
“If our systems go down, it doesn’t only affect us, it negatively impacts hundreds of our students. ATS understands this and have continued to act with urgency and understanding. It means a lot to me that what’s important to us, is important to them.”
